What is interesting about the One Stop Center idea is that the government will be a centralized depot for employers to list jobs vacancies (temp and Perm).
The One Stops are able to not only serve as a depots of vacancies but they are also able to fill temp and perm jobs at no cost to the applicants.
Doing the above clearly places the government at odds with for profit temp agencies and placement firms. And since there is a dumbass republican in the White House, we can probably expect the One Stop Center program to be gutted in favor of privatization. |
