If these people are around much longer I will be very surprised. If I had the time I would have sued them in June, just for the fun of it. Since there are plenty of other agencies sending people to their clients, why bother with them? For example, they have Morgan Stanley. In the last ten years, do you have any idea how many temp agencies have HAD Morgan Stanley? Every other year there is some new GIRL bragging about how she bagged Morgan Stanley. Fuck Morgan Stanley. Just take their money while they still have clients and can still make payroll |

Wall Street Services has sent me on two assignments. In both instances, I was informed of the end of my assignment in the following manner: I received an unexpected message on my HOME answering machine - left by a W.S.S. rep at about 5:00 pm on a Friday - telling me, "Don't report to work Monday." I have worked for numerous temp agencies. Wall Street Services is the only one in my experience to terminate an assignment in this way. As far as I am concerned, this is an unacceptable way to do business. ANY notice at all would have been preferable to none, as it would have allowed me to start making some phone calls and trying to line up work, thereby avoiding a break in my income. Furthermore, I believe that calling a temp's home answering machine rather than phoning that person on the job is particularly cowardly. I would recommend avoiding Wall Street Services. |
